ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Tom Dack 1933

Painter and artist in pen and ink, born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, where he attended the College of Art and Design. Most of his working life was spent in advertising agencies and commercial studios as an illustrator and designer. His own work was concered with marine, aircraft and landscape subjects. Showed at Darlington Art Gallery, Bede Museum in Jarrow; Sally Port Gallery, Berwick Upon Tweed; Patricia Wells Gallery, Thornbury; DLI Museum and Art Gallery, Durham; and elsewhere. Lived in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear.
