Dianne Flynn was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire in 1939 and has been a full-time artist since 1976. She attended art schools in Huddersfield and Batley before going on to Manchester School of Art in 1970. Dianne graduated three years later with a Diploma in Art & Design. After a further year of study at Leeds Polytechnic, she was awarded an Art Teacher’s Certificate in 1974.
Dianne Flynn lived and worked in Normandy from 1989 to 1997 but now lives and paints in Exeter with her husband the artist, Paul Hedley.
