We are delighted to welcome Liz Mulrey to our website. A talented artists who uses bold colours to create her paintings which are vibrant and unique.

Liz describes her art as follows:

I am a self-taught artist who discovered the joy of drawing and  painting relatively late in life.  An unexpected present of a small, watercolour palette induced me to sketch and paint a garden bird.  Since then I have been hooked.  A second epiphany came a few years later when stuck in traffic on the motorway.  I looked around and all I could see were lorries.  Seeing beauty in the lorries sent me down another unexpected route,  painting vehicles.  Since then I have experimented with different mediums and enjoy the serendipity of 'happy accidents' taking an image somewhere unplanned.
