Sara Hagland (b.1994)
Garden Squirrel

We are delighted to welcome Sara Hagland to The Wallington Gallery. She uses coloured pencils to create her pictures which are absolutely stunning! Her attention to detail and use of colour create images that truly represent the subject and have a 'life like' quality.

Sara  was born in 1994 and lived most of her life in Gateshead, and currently lives and works in Norway.

She is self taught and has been drawing for 6 years. She started using coloured pencil 3 years ago, this has quickly become her meduim of choice. 

Her favourite things to draw are birds. She has grown to particularly enjoy drawing local wildlife, and would be open to any commissions under this title. She also enjoys drawing dogs, pet portraits are available on request 

"I love animals and get inspiration from walking in the countryside and seeing animals close up, in their natural habitat. I endeavour to make my drawings as life like as possible, trying to focus on finer details, which can bring the subject to life".
